This 3D art video installation centers on the theme of reaction, unfolding through two animated characters who fixate on a real banana and apple placed in front of their screens. Each character, speaking in an exaggerated, fake and crude British accent, appears on a separate VHS tape played through adjacent CRT televisions. As the scene progresses, the characters grow increasingly agitated, screaming and bickering over which fruit is superior. Desperate for the other to understand and agree with their point of view. Their frustration builds into a barrage of theatrical insults, circular arguments, and absurd conviction. Occasionally, they break from arguing to acknowledge the viewers, throwing glances, comments, or exaggerated gestures toward anyone nearby, dragging the audience into their petty conflict. The grainy analog visuals and aggressive energy create a chaotic, immersive atmosphere where the line between spectator and participant begins to blur.
In the end, the installation becomes a humorous but pointed reflection on the nature of reaction itself, not as a path to understanding, but as a loop of emotional escalation, ego, and the desperate need to be heard, even when nothing of substance is being said.
